Mary Wigham

Here she is!.. . completed except for initials.  I will be using those of my own family.  I’ll start with my parents and in-laws and include my brother and brother-in-law and sister-in-law and of course my children, their spouses and children (my grandkids). I intend to color-code by family so I have to plan that out.  IMG_3096

I’ll be able to add all of them except for the newest grandbaby who will be born in May.

Meanwhile, Xena has the center of her skirt done, and I will begin the side panels tomorrow.  What I finished so far is mostly white on white congress cloth and difficult to photograph.

I’ve planned out Celia’s birth sampler. so that will enter the rotation now that Mary is virtually done.

More soon…………..Grandma

Lovely "Mary". Did you use the suggested colours in DMC? or are they different ones. Well done

Suggested colours - different ground cloth -- 28 count "natural linen". I wanted all the whites and ecrus to show up.

Woo Hoo Miss Mary is a beauty, it looks great. I love your choice of material. I am still stitching her and yes the white and ecrus blend in with my fabric so I am change them some.
Can't wait to see her with your family intials, thats what I want to do too.

Wonderful! I started this a while back; got about a dozen stitches in and got sidetracked with other things. Need to get back to it. You did a super job!

Hi Edy,

Mary is beautiful! And it won't take you long to fill in the initials. :-)
