Another "Grandma" day

Well, today was another "Grandma" day. #1 son brought his son into the city and gave us a lift to the train station where three of us -- grandson, PopPop, and I--took the TRAIN, one of grandson's favorite modes of transportation, and visited #2 son and his family. There are four grandkids in that family and all of them had a wonderful blow-out ot a time. There were Thomas Trains and Hess Trucks to play with, and swings and a slide and a fabulous dunk or two in the kiddy wading pool in the huge yard.

When #1 son and his wife came up, we all had a simply delicious dinner grilled by #2 son. I must have raised my kids (there are three boys and one girl) right because they are all fabulous host/hostesses who really know how to entertain.

After watching a video of a recent kindergarten graduation, PopPop and I piled into #1 son's car to make the hour+ trip back to the city. Nothing very funny or spectacular happened today, but it was a very satisfying "Grandma" day.
